Change Management

When does a company need change management? Usually when going through a transition such as Six Sigma, process reengineering, total quality management, organizational development, restructuring, continuous process improvement, or a company-wide platform update. Change management can ease implementation, and encourage early usage, if applied properly.

 

Change management uses communication the way a car uses gasoline. In other words, communication is the thing that makes it move. Change management means developing a plan to communicate initatives at the right time; employees need to know what is coming, how and when it’s coming, and what to do to manage the transition.
